Shake the Snow Globe
Hi there,
Sometimes in life, we can begin to settle.
Maybe you were on a wild adventure at one point, but along the way, you've found your groove, and things are comfortable.
If comfortable were a picture, it would be like the last few tiny flakes falling in a snow globe. Things are just settling.
Maybe you can relate. You can't remember the last time you shook your life snow globe.
This isn't a bad thing. In fact, things may be going great, but you feel like something is missing.
It may be time to shake the snow globe again. After all, snow globes come alive and are most beautiful in the shaking.
Sure, there will be a lot going on as the thousands of snowflakes surround you, but you'll be in the middle of a beautiful adventure with God.
So go ahead. Shake the snow globe. What are you waiting for?
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really are. We know who he is, and we know who we are: Father and children. — Romans 8:15-16 MSG
