Hey friend,
We added our newest member to the Wheeler family in December of last year. And no, it's not another kid. We've already got a litter of those.
She's a Cavapoo, and her name is Bailey. (cue the awws for the dog lovers)
These breeds LOVE to be around people, and they love to play. So every time we get within 5 feet of her, she grabs some toy near her and bends down to play tug of war. And of course, that tail is wagging like crazy.
The more I thought about it, I realized how important it is to see when her tail is wagging. It's an indicator to let me know when she is excited. A hint of what really makes her come alive.
I love how God thought through how dogs could talk to us about what makes them excited. And he did that for us as well. We have signs, hints and indicators to let us know how we are feeling as well.
When you feel strengthened after spending time with friends, that’s a little tail wag.
When you sink 4 hours into a project and it feels like it’s been 5 minutes. Another tail wag.
Pay attention to the tail wags in your life to figure out what makes you come alive.
The more time you can invest in those activities, the more you're living out your unique expression of God.
What about you? What activities make your tail wag? Let me know in the comments! 👇
Long walks at night with my hubby, quality time with my kids and friends!
